Blog Assignment 3- Illegal Immigration
Today in class we discussed the issue of illegal immigration. Illegal immigration is a very opinionated subject in America and has been at the center of many political debates. Your blog assignment is to post at least seven sentences saying what an illegal immigrant is, why illegal immigration is a problem, who you think is to blame for it, what is being done to stop it, and should the U.S. continue to put money into preventing immigration(why?) or could there be another solution (if so what?). Use examples from your hand out I gave you if you can. The links to the sites I got the info from are below as well as another link with articles about illegal immigration.

Illegal immigrantion is when someone from a different country comes in and lives in America illegily. Immigration is a problem because we don't know who is coming into our country and it is too expensive to support them. I think the governments of the other countries that the immigrants are trying to get away from are to blame. They are not providing a nice, safe place to live in and jobs for them.And we are trying to stop it by putting more security around the border. Yes,we need to keep putting money into preventing immigration. We need to limit the amount of people that come in, and we need to know who they are.There could be another solution, we could try to help the other countries provide a better plce to live in,so that the illegal immigrants will want to stay in their home country.

ReplyDeleteAn illegal immigrant is someone that enters and stays in the U.S. without proper permission.Illegal immigration is a problem because they could be bringing drugs. They also take jobs that U.S. could have.
ReplyDeleteI think the government should be blamed because they're responsible for securing the U.S. And they are not processing applications fast enough. There are guards, walls and gates at the borders to help to stop illegal immigration. The U.S. should continue to put some money into preventing this because it is the governments job to protect the citizens. Another solution to this problem could be to let them come in, but make sure they are not smuggling drugs and give them a certain amount of time to find a job.

Illegal immigrantion is when a person comes from an another country in to a country without permission. Illegal immigrantion is a promblem because because some of them come here for jobs ,so they are taking U.S jobs, and we have to pay for there childrens edacation. Also, some of the people are bringing drugs in in th america. I we should blame blame a couple of people. We should blame our goverment because we need better surcity,the other countries goverment for not doing much about it, and we should blame the people from the other country coming over to our country because they need to find jobs in their own country. Things that are being done to stop it are cameras around the border line,security officers,and planes in the sky to see any movement.Yes, I think we should put money into it because if we don't anybody could come in to the U.S.There are other solutions. One is that we could provide better jobs in that country.

I think that illegal immigration should be stoped because the more illegal immigrants in the U.S. the more taxes we would have to pay for them to go to jail.Also if they are coming here for a job they are taking jobs that U.S. citizens may want.I think that the government is not protecting us well enough because there are alot of illegal immigrants in the U.S.

An illegal immigrent is a person who crosses the border without permission. This will be a problem because they might bring drugs over into the U.S. The problem exists because of the Mexican government and President Obama. The government is trying to stop the problem by introducing high tech surveilance, and providing more border patrols. Yes the U.S. should put more money into the effort because it will stop illegal immigration. Other ways the problem could be dealt with are to make the immigrants go to school and pay taxes. Also the Mexican government should do their part to help.

Illegal immigration is when somebody comes in a country without permission. It is a problem because people from other countries have weapons and can be bad guys. The U.S. needs security to arrest the people coming over the boarder and bring them back to their country. We could try to help other countries be a better place to live so their people would want to stay there. The U.S. is trying to have better security, more cameras, and lots of helicopters to watch for people crossing over the boarders. ReplyDeleteimagration is when people come into our country ilegly. imagration is a major problem. we need to stop it. we should not have to put up with this . other countreis shoot them and some put them in jail. we could have more people on border patrol. we could also put a camra on every single pole so that you can see the hole antire wall. we should realy do something soon before they take over our country.
